Update 6th April 2021 – Beer Garden Opening 16th April!

Thanks to the government easing of restrictions, we will be opening our beer garden on the 16th of April.  Our opening weekend will be drinks only to hopefully enjoy in the sunshine which we have pre-ordered.

  • Friday, the 16th of April we will open at 2 pm
  • Saturday, the 17th of April 2 pm and
  • Sunday, the 18th of April at 3 pm

We are not taking bookings for our tables, it is a first come first serve basis.  Remember to wrap up warm.

A change in the law now requires the pub to offer table service outside and every customer is now required to either scan the track and trace QR code in the NHS app or give their name, address & contact number.  Failure to do so requires us to refuse service.

For the time being, we will continue with our Thursday evening takeaway and Sunday lunch takeaway, although they can now be enjoyed in the beer garden upon request. Check out our latest menu here

Our fruit and veg boxes from Rowlands, fresh meat from Hough’s and fresh fish from Barkworths are also available to order, please call the pub for more details.

Again we would like to thank you all for your continued support, take care of yourselves and each other and we hope to see you all soon.

Blaine & Michelle

In the bar we have got the usual pub snacks and salami from Shropshire Salumi! The cask ales, Hobsons Best and Ludlow Gold, Stonehouse and Wye Valley have been proving popular, so come on in and say hello. Have a look at out At The Bar page for more information.
